The "snooze mode" was developed 4 years ago as we had a project on a large traffic island. In the winter time, the solar underfloor floor lamps could be covered with snow, whereupon we developed the "snooze mode".
If the solar cell does not generate any electrical current within 24 hours, the micro controller switches to the "snooze mode" and turns off the LEDs. In this way, the solar underfloor lamp can be prevented from lighting under a snow cover for several days and the accumulator empties!
As soon as the solar under-floor lamp is under the open sky, it leaves the "snooze mode". Since the "snooze mode" works perfectly, all our products now have this function installed.
